Keshavi Jaharia is an Amsterdam-based filmmaker and performer whose work spans directing, writing, acting and screen action. Her films explore human relationships, resilience and women’s experiences, combining emotionally driven storytelling with practical experience on both sides of the camera.

A key creative collaborator at Never Give Up Phoenix Productions, Keshavi works closely with Adam Richards across filmmaking, stunts and action sequences. Their collaborations include Adhirshtasaali, starring R. Madhavan and directed by Mithran Jawahar, on which she served as Adam’s assistant action director. She also performed stunt driving on the Netflix series Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein—work Adam describes as some of the most impressive stunt driving he has seen.

Keshavi wrote, directed, produced and starred in Cybershot, appearing alongside Sharib Hashmi, and Insusceptible, in which she portrays Maya, a woman facing an abusive marriage. Her acting credits also include The Best Is Yet to Come, Ehsaas and Drugs and Dreams. Her producing work includes co-producing Almost and The Cancelled Ride.

In the short drama Simran Kaur 1970, she combines the title role with writing, directing and producing. Set in 1970s London, the film follows an Indian woman whose arrival at Heathrow to marry leads to a distressing encounter with immigration procedures.

Across her work, Keshavi brings together performance, storytelling and action, with a particular interest in strong female perspectives and the courage people find in difficult circumstances.
